We offer two versions of this cover: SEW ON and VELCRO.

The chain/hook cover is designed to fit on the small rear triangle, right where the front wheel hook attaches to the frame when the bike is folded.

Sew on version:

Waxed thread and two needles are included for stitching the cover. Be careful not to poke the needle through the thread, as this would ruin the appearance of the cross stitch.

Velcro version:

The cover uses a special thin but strong Velcro to wrap securely around the frame. While it may take a little time to get it wrapped just right, it should not pose a significant challenge.

This full-grain vegetable tanned cowhide leather is characterized by a smooth grain side surface with deep, rich colors. This naturally tanned leather is the best, lasting and most natural leather kind which is produced.

I ordered the brown one but received the black one, but it’s not a big deal, just don’t want to do the return and replace process. Good quality product.

Simple item, high quality (at a price!)

There’s not too much I can say about what is a relatively simply leather wrap piece of protection for my beloved Brompton, other than that the manufacturing quality does indeed seem very high! It should be, however, at the price one must pay for this item, which is my reason for 4 stars rather than 5 - value would be 5/5 if this was slightly cheaper! Thank you Souma Leather for a great little item!

Easy to install (sowing variant) after watching a video. The material is veeeery high quality. May Brompton folds like a dream from nowon. Before, I was always worrying about producing scratches while folding. Now it glides smoothly into position.

Well made leather protector

This is a cleanly cut piece of leather that wraps around the hook area of the Brompton and is secured with a velcro fastener. Installation is simple and it fits the spot well. The workmanship is neat and the piece feels well made.

Lovely product

The strap is made of quality leather and Velcro is strong. Lovely honey colour. It was quite tricky to fit and have not been able to utilise all the Velcro space, but will probably stretch out over time to fit even better. Happy customer again :)

Sehr schönes Leder, beste Qualität, sehr gute Verarbeitung und tolles Design. Leider für mein neues Brompton G-Line nicht geeignet. Sehr schade.

Ein praktischer Schutz an einer Stelle die zuvor nur von einem Aufkleber geschützt wurde. Macht einen guten Eindruck. Es brauchte aber etwas Geduld um es an dieser Stelle anzunähen. Wer ungeduldig ist sollte zur Klettverschluss-Variante greifen.
