  1. Position the Cover: Ensure the cover is fitted with the logo facing forward.
  2. Attach Longer Parts First: Start by attaching the two longer parts of the cover.
  3. Connect Smaller Parts: Next, connect the smaller Velcro parts in the middle, beginning with the center one.
  4. Stretch and Secure: Once all pieces are connected, go back and reattach some of them to ensure the cover is nicely stretched around the curved main frame tube.
  5. Alternative Attachment: The cover can also be attached with the connection part facing up. Some customers prefer this method for a unique look.
  1. Long Main Frame Cover: Ensure the cover is fitted with the logo facing forward. Start by attaching the two long parts first, and then connect the smaller Velcro parts in the middle, beginning with the center one. Once all pieces are connected, go back and reattach some of them to ensure the cover is nicely stretched around the curved main frame tube.
  2. Front Frame Cover: Bend the small part of the cover with the two rounded cutouts and push it through the cable hook on the frame. After that, align the cover and connect the Velcro securely, just as you did with the long frame cover.
  3. Full Stem Cover: This may be the most challenging cover to attach neatly, but it should not pose a significant problem. Just make sure that you are wrapping the cover around the stem tightly so that the Velcro parts completely overlap each other.

We include 5 sets of the waxed thread with two needles for stitching each part of the covers.

Be careful not to poke the needle through the thread, as this will ruin the appearance of the cross stitch.

  1. Main Frame Tube Cover: Attach with the stitching facing downwards. Start from the front folding joint to ensure a secure fit.
  2. Front Frame Cover: Thread the leather through the metal eyelet that holds the cables in place. Recommended to start from the folding joint.
  3. Stem Cover: Begin stitching from the top, right under the handlebars.
  4. Chain/Hook Cover: Designed to fit on the small rear triangle, right where the front wheel hook attaches to the frame when the bike is folded.
  5. Video Tutorial: Watch a video for a quick tutorial on attaching the long frame cover.

We include waxed thread with two pre-threaded needles for stitching with each long frame protector.

When stitching, be careful not to poke the needle through the thread, as it could ruin the nice look of the cross-stitch.

The cover can also be attached with the stitching facing downwards for a cleaner look.

Additionally, we have made quick tutorial video on how to attach the long frame cover. Feel free to use any stitch you like; you can find tutorials on the internet. The thread provided should be long enough.

Velcro version:

The cover uses a special thin but strong Velcro to wrap securely around the frame. While it may take a little time to get it wrapped just right, it should not pose a significant challenge.

The main frame cover is designed to fit right behind the folding joint on the mainframe tube, while the smaller piece of the cover is made to fit under the handlebars, where the cables may rub against the frame.

The handle is attached to the frame with four heavy-duty snaps, ensuring a secure fit. It fits tightly to the frame, so installing it for the first time may require a bit of strength, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Watch a short video with a few tips to help you with the installation.

The front carrier strap is very simple to attach. Just insert the screw through the hole in the front carrier block lever and tighten the self-locking nut to the stainless steel screw, and you’re good to go.

Don't tighten the screw too much; leave a little bit of play in the strap so it can move freely.

  1. Attach Zip Tie: Begin by attaching the zip tie securely around the designated area.
  2. Trim Excess: Once secured, trim off the excess length of the zip tie for a neat appearance.
  3. Wrap the Leather: Wrap the leather around the cables carefully.
  4. Close Snap Button: Finally, close the snap button to secure the leather in place.

  1. Install Leather Grips: Slide the leather grips onto the handlebar and tighten the lock on the clamp. Ensure you don’t over-tighten the bolt, as this may damage the grips; tighten just enough for a firm fit.
  2. Insert Bar End Plugs: Push the wooden bar end plugs into the handlebar tube. The best way to insert the bar ends is to “twist” them while pushing them inside.
  3. Watch Demonstration: For a visual guide, you can watch the demonstration video.

The mud flaps are slightly difficult to attach, but it can be done without removing either wheel.

Deflate the tires a little bit to gain better access to the nut at the bottom. That said, attaching them will be much easier if the wheels are removed, providing better access to the mounting points.

For the front mud flap, it is recommended to gently round (bend) it by hand to give it a slightly curved shape, ensuring it does not interfere with the braking levers while folding your Brompton.

  1. Preparation: Ensure the hub area is clean and free of debris to facilitate a smooth installation.
  2. Positioning: The shorter leather hub shiner is intended for the front wheel, while the longer shiner is meant for the rear wheel. Place them accordingly around the hubs, designed to be just long enough to spin freely without interfering with the riding experience.
  3. Check for Movement: After positioning, check to see that the shiners can rotate around the hubs without being obstructed.
  4. Allow for Adjustment: Be aware that it may take some time for the leather to loosen up, allowing the shiners to spin freely around the hubs.
