We offer two versions of this cover: SEW ON and VELCRO.

The chain/hook cover is designed to fit on the small rear triangle, right where the front wheel hook attaches to the frame when the bike is folded.

Sew on version:

Waxed thread and two needles are included for stitching the cover. Be careful not to poke the needle through the thread, as this would ruin the appearance of the cross stitch.

Velcro version:

The cover uses a special thin but strong Velcro to wrap securely around the frame. While it may take a little time to get it wrapped just right, it should not pose a significant challenge.

The strap is made of quality leather and Velcro is strong. Lovely honey colour. It was quite tricky to fit and have not been able to utilise all the Velcro space, but will probably stretch out over time to fit even better. Happy customer again :)

nice, but ...

a simple, but well made addition to stop my paintwork from getting scratched. However, as I’ve tried this on my new Brompton G-line, it hasn’t worked quite as well as I’d hoped as it’s clearly not designed for that usage. Ideally, it would be great to see Souma extend the range of Brompton accessories to the G-line.

We're glad to hear you appreciate the quality of the product, even though it didn’t quite meet expectations with your new G-line Brompton.

You're absolutely right—it’s not currently designed for the G-line. We're actively working on expanding our range to include G-line-compatible accessories, but to do that properly, we first need to get our hands on a G-line bike for testing and fitting.

In the meantime, we do have a filter on our website where you can sort products by Brompton model compatibility, which might help for future purchases. And you’ve made a great point—this particular item’s description should mention the incompatibility with the G-line. We'll update that to make it clearer for other riders.

Wonderful - does not work on the G Line

Great leather in a beautiful dark brown, super processed. Fits perfectly and can be attached with the thread and the needles. Unfortunately, it does not work on the G Line.
