Where It All Began.
This is our original design, the bag that brought Marek to leather working and started the Souma Leather story. We launched it on Kickstarter, back when we were just figuring things out and dreaming about where this little project might take us.
Looking back at our original Kickstarter campaign feels a little cringey now, but in the most sentimental way. It's a reminder of where we started and the small idea that brought us here.
At Souma Leather, we are committed to providing the highest quality leather products. We are using only premium full grain vegetable tanned leather from the Virgilio Conceria Artigiana in Tuscany, Italy for all of our products. This full-grain vegetable tanned cowhide leather is characterized by a smooth grain side surface with deep, rich colors. This naturally tanned leather is the best, lasting and most natural leather kind which is produced.
